Cyanotype are a from of printmaking and photography done by mixing potassium ferricyanide and ferric ammonium citrate with water to get a UV sensitive solution. When painted onto a material in the dark, it dries green. When exposed to the sun, it turns darker and when rinsed with water, it turns into this lovely Prussian blue color.
The photographs are done by printing negatives of photos taken by Artthentic and laying them on the treated paper.
The botanical prints are called photograms which are done by drying flowers and leaves and laying them on the treated paper.
