Biography

My name is Emily Wetzler (she/her). I am from New York City and I have been interested in and creating art for as long as I can remember.

Since 2022, I have been more seriously developing my art as something to share with others under the artist name Artthentic. In this time, linocuts and cyanotypes have been my primary mediums. Beginning in October 2022, I have been vending at in-person markets and participating in any fun exhibitions and events that I can. My art is focused on nature, botanicals, and all things spooky as themes of life and death are always an enticing subject.

I am also a student at Arizona State University (online) majoring in Museum and Heritage Studies with a focus in Art History and a minor in Religious Studies. Studying and appreciating art and its relations to the world has always been deeply important to me.
