Linocuts

Linocuts, also known as linoprints, are a form of printmaking done by carving a piece of linoleum to make a relief. What is left uncarved creates the image you see in the print.

The prints on paper are done on lokta paper handmade by Kathmandu Valley Co. in Nepal. Lokta is a fast growing bush so these prints are tree free. 

The prints on notebooks are also done on lokta paper from Kathmandu Valley Co. which they have bound as a book and dyed the covers this lovely sage green color using pomegranate skins and indigo. 

The prints on wood are done on reclaimed pallet wood for the cutouts and pine wood slices for the ornaments.

Because these are handprinted, each print will vary slightly from the picture. In other words, each print is unique.
